Dr. Niemeyer is board certified in general surgery and completed fellowship training in hepatobiliary and pancreas surgery at Carolinas Medical Center. He is interested in all aspects of general surgery with particular focus in minimally invasive surgical treatment of both benign and malignant diseases of the liver and pancreas.

When Dr. Niemeyer is not in the operating room, he enjoys time with family, woodworking and home improvement projects. As a native Midwesterner, he is an Ohio State Buckeye fan.
