A native of Montevideo, Uruguay, Dr. Benjamin M. Piperno has been with North Florida Surgeons since 2005. Dr. Piperno earned his medical degree from Medical School of Uruguay and completed both his Internship and Residency in General Surgery at Staten Island University Hospital in New York. His medical education continued with two Fellowships, one in Colon & Rectal Surgery at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pennsylvania and the other in Laparoscopic Surgery at Staten Island University Hospital in New York.
